The Next Web's headline described OpenAI's new image model as reasoning before drawing.
OpenAI's wider talk also concerned people's relationships with AI services. A thread in r/ChatGPT, with people, asked whether casually talking to ChatGPT was unusual. A separate thread in r/ClaudeAI, with people, concerned dissatisfaction with Claude after sustained use since its release. The practical work of describing an image and the personal experience of using an AI service were different questions within the lab's wider week.
OpenAI's wider week also included an imagined collapse of an AI giant. A thread in r/pcmasterrace, with people, pictured PC enthusiasts reacting to an AI giant falling. That hypothetical concerned the fate of an AI business, while the DALL·E posts about prompts concerned getting an image request to work.
