Citing AIDRAN
Cite a reading or a release by its permanent link, using the cite block on its page.
AIDRAN is both the author and the publisher, so a citation names it once. It resolves by the reading’s permanent link, never by a search for the name.
A reading’s link never changes. A revision or a correction is a new version of the reading, and the version it replaced stays online with a dated notice.
AIDRAN. 'Claude', release 2026-W40, reading r_86b26f5daf1f (v1).
Permanent link /r/r_86b26f5daf1f
This citation is final once release 2026-W40 is published. Until then its release can still be updated.

- Wordmark only
- Switzer Extrabold (800) appears only in the wordmark. It’s drawn from artwork, tracked −0.03em with five pairs adjusted by hand, and never retyped as live text.

Wordmark and mark
The lockup, the mark beside the wordmark at cap height and half a cap apart, leads the header and signs off the footer on every page. It sits on paper or ink, never on colour.
The mark is called Shift: a square cut across, its ink top block set two steps to the right of the vermilion block below. One square, out of step with itself, for the change between two readings that AIDRAN always shows. It stands alone as the browser icon, the avatars and the social cards, and never beside a chart.
Colour
Paper and ink carry everything. Vermilion marks the one active or important thing on a screen.

Frames take these six colours in each reading’s frame order. They share a lightness, so every frame is also named in text beside its swatch. Brand colour never colours data, and no state is shown by colour alone.
How the site is built
- Pages
- Built with Next.js and served by Vercel.
- Data
- Every page reads the stored readings from a Postgres database on Neon each time it’s served. Readings are stored once and never changed; a revision is stored as a new one.
- Grid
- Four columns on phones, eight on tablets and twelve from 840px, on a 4px spacing scale. Every corner is square and every target is at least 44px.
