Suno's Licensing Impasse Exposes Copyright's Double Standard

What the Suno litigation has made structurally unavoidable is that AI companies need copyright law to run in two directions at once. They need training on human work to be fair use — unlicensed, uncompensated — and they need the output that training produces to be protectable commercial property.
